Visit the lab
The Ueda Campus of the Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University, where our laboratory belongs, is about 1.6 km away from Ueda Station. Please refer to the university's how-to-access webpage. When you come to Ueda Station by Shinkansen or train, please use the following means of transportation:
- On foot: it takes 20 minutes approcimately
- Cab: Take a cab from the cab stand at the Castle Exit (上田駅お城口) of Ueda Station.
- Free bicycle rental: a limited number of bicycles available
- Ueda Bus: From Ueda Station, take the 10:00 10:55 12:25 14:15 bus to the nearest bus stop of the Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University, at AEON Ueda Shopping Center. On the way back to Ueda Station, only four buses leave from AEON Ueda Shopping Center at 9:03 10:27 11:23 12:53. For the latest information, please check this page, Kuborin Line (久保林線).
